Wasp Sting

Not only hurt but a wasp sting can be poisonous and so the venom needs to be removed.

I have never really thought about a wasp sting treatment until I got stung recently. Boy , did that hurt or what.

Have you ever been stung? Yikes! That stuff really hurts. Bees, hornets, yellow jackets, they all pack a punch that none of us wish to be on the receiving end of. For me the worst is a wasp sting. These angry little buggers come at you like fighter jets. I honestly think they are out for some grudge-driven vengeance. I wonder who was the human who initiated this rage in their micro-sized hearts?

So okay, maybe it's not quite that personal, but it sure seems that way when we're around them. Am I right? Oh come on, you've surely seen the wrath of an outraged wasp before. I know I have, and I avoid it like the plague. I have been stung on occasion by the best of these stinger-toting bugs, and I have to say that a wasp sting carries the most powerful punch. They're like the 50 caliber Desert Eagle of flying insects.

Have you any idea how do you deal with a nasty wasp sting? In all honesty, I never really knew how to deal with these infectious red bumps. I have to admit I have seen some foul ones in my day. I can remember back when I was 10 years old; my brother and I were plying in a junk yard. Little did we know that there were wasp nests all among us.

You know, the paper ones they craft so perfectly. Well, to our misfortune, we stirred some up by accident. This of course initiated an outrage in the wasp colony. We were basically attacked by a dozen of these sting-happy lunatics. I ended up with 8 wasp stings, while my younger brother took the worse hit of 14. This was not a pretty sight. Our mother of course freaked out.

Of course these days I have a slightly better way of handling a wasp sting, or any sting for that matter. There's a nifty little tool you can purchase to deal with stings and even snake bites. It's actually a survival tool to be more specific.

The cool thing is that it works like a charm and won't cost you much. I'm talking about a venom extractor. You can pick them up online for 10-20 bucks at the most.

I highly recommend that everyone have one, even if you are not a big nature buff. You never know when a red wasp, a yellow jacket wasp or a cicada killer wasp may sneak up on you. Those little guys attack out of nowhere. With the extractor you simply place it over the bite and draw it back like a syringe, but without the needle.

It literally works like a suction cup. Leave it on for five minutes and then pop it off. You can literally watch the venom get sucked right out of that wasp sting. You'll only be left with a red dot. Pretty awesome, huh? Don't let that next wasp sting put a damper on your outdoor fun.

These venom extractors work well with any type of wasp sting or other wasp insect sting. Still though you should seek medical treatmeant as soon as possible after a wasp bite.
